AMC Laboratory Closures

The AMC ODMC has been and continues to monitor the impact of COVID-19 at our participating institutions. Prior to shipping any AMC specimens, clinical sites are advised to confirm that FedEx service to their site has not been affected by visiting https://www.fedex.com/en-us/service-alerts.html. Staff responsible for specimen shipping are reminded that it is required to record all specimens in GlobalTrace, and electronic shipments must be sent the same day as the physical shipment to ensure that the receiving lab will have staff on hand to accept the shipment. As updates become available, additional lab closures and shipping restrictions will be listed below and communicated via email.
